TP 0.8 is out??

Sorry, Just beta testing it. It should be moving public soon, but with all the new work for bloc created by the release of SMF 1.1 RC2, you may have to wait a bit longer.

clearly

Aaah okay :)

My 2700 users are waiting for TP 0.8  O0

I am very anxiously awaiting TinyPortal 0.8.  It is a shame though.  Right now I am forced to setup a new site using TinyPortal 0.7.5, SMF 1.0.5 (ok that part wasn't forced) and Coppermine 1.4.3.

P.S. - I chose to use SMF 1.0.5 because it had an easier to understand admin interface...

Are you going to be releasing updated themes for SMF 1.1 RC2 and TP 0.8?  Is TP 0.8 going to be compatible with SMF 1.0.5?

The Danger

 ::)
I've been sitting on installing TinyPortal for... months now...
finally get the time, and I'm inspired by my smooth upgrade to RC2... Say Hey, now's a good time to install TP...

..gah!!

I'll beta... I haven't even gotten to use 07 tho...  :P

shinji

Actually I'm not really likely to setup SMF 1.1RC2 on the main server unless there is something really good on the new version that isn't available on the older version.  Maybe if there was a feature comparison list...

The Danger

All I've really found so far. functionally, is
A) It actually goes to the new users pending when you click new users waiting
b) It adds a lame HTML outline over certain graphical links, like smileys. Weak.

It also breaks apart the administration panel a bit, but I always felt that RC1 was kinda half done. I dig the new statistics. That's neat. The presumed "refreshless" editing doesn't seem to be different, but I use firefox, so mebbe it's an IE thing.  Oh well. I'm in it for the invisible compatibility and security upgrades.

clearly

Just another question: What are the conditions for joining the beta testing group?

Ok.  Then there isn't really any reason for me to update smf on my end.  The stats feature in 1.0.5 is more than sufficient for my needs.

For the border problem
Just add

a img
{
border: 0;
}

to those theme's style.css files.

Actually there are a whole lot of new features in 1.1 RC2.  But this isn't the place to discuss SMF.  GLad to hear that .8 will be out soon Bloc.
