why cant all browsers be like firefox :(

opera sucks even more than IE
I hope Max or Redone doesn't read that lol

akulion

dont tell me they use opera!! :2funny:

the surprising part is even if u go to the opera page they admit their browser is not as good as othr browsers ... but of course they 'hide' it with a long speech about how opera is infact better because it dosent run javascript properly (which according to them can be dangerous) :2funny:

because it dosent run javascript properly (which according to them can be dangerous) :2funny:

you dont think it can be?

akulion

java script can be dangerous if u are going to shifty sites and dont have programs like mcafee site advisor installed

i doubt that any respectable site would risk their business by using shifty scripts

but luckily i have site advisor and it always alerts me of suspicious stuff on a page if there is any

but only cos of a few scripts it dosent mean that u totally leave out javascript to run porperly

===============

ur welcome nikita

nikita

All of a sudden my image for my chat bot wouldn't load.  After much research, I found my problem.  I had enabled hot link protection for my site.  After I disabled it, my images came back!  Even though my site's url was in the list to allow for image linking.

Maybe I should add the url for the forum, maybe then I would still have the hot link protection but still be able to link to images on my server. What do you think?

akulion

i have no clue about that lol

but u could try adding the url to the forum and see if it works or not

Do you have the hotlink protection for your site on your host?  I wonder how many have enabled this feature and how do they fare while using it.  I also think it slowed my site down, because everything is back to normal.  I was having time outs and a host of other problems that went away.

akulion

i have no clue if they have it or not - never tried it myself either
