A couple of questions for you first,

How old is the version of 2.1 you're using and where did you download it from?

What version of TinyPortal are you running? Do you only get the error when logging in via that TinyPortal user block?

nightly(github) smf2.1 and TinyPortal 1.6.7.
clean test forum. But I have already tested it in 2 other forums.

I'm from Brazil and I use a translator!

I am seeing the same on Tp 2.0.0 with recent SMF 2.1 build... not sure why this is happening though

Not sure but might have something to do with the fix for this from 19 days ago. "token error on incorrect password" https://github.com/SimpleMachines/SMF2.1/issues/6127

May be a clue, but the SMF issue and fix do not make the user block work again: I get the same error without and with the fix...

I'm wondering if we need to add the (some) code to our own login form, like we had to with the session check issue way back.  To be honest I don't know.

Yep I agree maybe one for Tino.  ;)

I just checked my last test site build 14 June, and it also spits that error on page when logging in from the TP user block.

It might be related to https://github.com/SimpleMachines/SMF2.1/issues/6192

Not sure when I'll get a chance to look in to it mind.

Fixed the problem for the next TP release. For 1.6.7 you can use attached file as a replacement...
