Problems using the TP download manager

I have some catergories:

Cat 1 - Sub Cat 1
Cat 2 - Sub Cat 2

In the admin sectoin i click on Cat 1 then Sub Cat 1. I am now in the Sub Cat 1, i then go to upload a file but the first Catergory is chosen (Cat 1), shouldnt Sub Cat 1 be chosen?

I finish changing everything, I click upload, im returned to the same window again?

Now i want to edit the file i just added (for this file i ticked "Do not upload anything, just create an empty item."), I click it to edit it, the "File" box is a drop down menu and has defaulted to the first file in alphabetical order (should be empty). I click submit to save my changes, im returned to the same window (again), this time the "File" box is a text box, i can now delete the text inside there and once again return it to an "empty item".

Is this intended? I hope its not too hard to understand, if anyone else has experienced this please let me know.

Im affraid it's a known issue that will be corrected in the next release of TP ( cant say when that will be )
