zombie process

dear TinyPortal team,

I am using SMF 1.1.10 & TinyPortal v1beta3
I have zombie process problems that cause overload CPU process

I have tried to follow instruction from here

This is certainly not a TinyPortal problem, and it may not even be an SMF problem.  It actually sounds more like some sort of configuration problem with your Apache setup, but there's no way of being sure.  Rather than trying to fix it based on a topic at SMF that is over 2 years old, I think you should consider starting your own topic over at SMF in the same board.  Someone over there may have some ideas since SMF has undergone quite a few changes in those 2 years.

Zombie processes usually indicate something is wrong with your server configuration. I don't think there is anyone here that would know how to fix that. In the past, any time I've run into a defunct process it has usually been because of a bug in the server software.
