From the topic in Chit-chat i summarized a bit into this list - with some thoughts where appropiate.

- social network groups => module -draft is already made
- seo urls - Should be SMF stuff, but might enhance
- ajax chat module
- checkbox to tick off topics to show on frontpage - Agreed
- hide TP version - Doable
- standalone portal - maybe in the future
- theme specific blocks - Feels like a very rarely used feature
- xml files for blocks - Quite doable
- blocks accepting user input - Goes along with xml files for blocks
- form manager - Interesting idea
- url manager- create short urls
- link manager/external sources - Also a very good idea
- dictionary module
- blocks having custom linkable titles - Agreed
- freeform block rendering - a module can exchange current block placing
- old style shoutbox - Sounds doable, for simpler shoubox even
- personal blog - Draft is already made, will go under TP Blog
- TP gallery - Alpha version is under development

- snippets distibuted with TP or ready for download - sounds doable
- SMF 2 support - Of course
- block styling for individual blocks - Agreed
- different styles for built-in blocks - maybe, though its foremost a theme thing
- admin hidden blocks - Doable

- developer function docs - in flux on every version lol, but needed
- CSS classes documented - same
- module tutorial - again needed
- grid block placement
- RSS feeds in tabs/scrollers - theme feature mostly, though some support for it is good
- fan club feature- tied to articles
- links manager
- auto update TP - very doable
- DB tools, import/expot db - sounds useful
- AjaxChat
- Better docs for TPadmin
- whisper mode for Shoutbox - agreed
- permission for download and/or view downloads - should imporve Download manager
- article block show real author - agreed
- change ownership on articles - agreed
- Better customasation of RSS block - Def. agreed, its needs rework or as module
- article type RSS - possibly, though blocks double up the feature
- RSS module to control multiple RSS feeds - Much needed
- let members choose categories to post articles in - useful
- general settings for article options/custom settings - agreed
- hide sections that are "off" in article edits - agreed
- hide intro textfield if useintro is off - agreed
- order articles similar to blocks

Fast first thoughts

Personally something i would look forward to.

What i personally think we could do with out.

seo urls - Should be SMF stuff, but might enhance ( will probably be more troubble then fun )
- ajax chat module ( same here, more troubble then fun as it's using a lot of server resources )
admin hidden blocks - Doable ( Cant see the reason to hide blocks for admins, just use the shrinks allready there IMHO )
standalone portal - maybe in the future ( We going to need a BIGGER STAFF )

Only those in bold I'd really consider,which of very few will be done right now.Updated themes and TP beta4/TP 2 is more important. But it helps with a roadmap for other things.

Just want to throw in my support for some kind of Blog for TP.  I've tried the ones at SMF which seem okay until you want something outside of the default theme.  I think I would rather wait and see what you can come up with.

i think it's just too much features..  i'm pretty happy of what TP0.9.8 can do at the moment.. so a stable TP1.0 is all i want.. all i want with TP1.0 is that you can display avatars of the thread starter in the frontpage..
