Each time I want to save an article, I have to go down to the end of the page. It would be nice if I could save it by clicking an icon on the top.

I like the social bookmark options.

Keep up the good job everyone. Your job is really appreciated.

Because of the various options that are available for articles, I'm not so sure this is such a good idea.  It seems fairly intuitive the way it is now.  If the save button was located at the top instead, it seems like we would get more support questions asking why something isn't working correctly.

For instance, someone might say "My article isn't showing the Social Bookmark icons" and the standard answer would be "Well, obviously you didn't scroll down to the bottom and select that option before you saved the article".  If there is another reason why having the save button at the top would be a good idea, perhaps you will enlighten us. ;)

Your reasonning is very good for a person who posts its first article. But after, there is a huge productivity lost.

How would I go to change the form so I would have a save buttom on the top?

Thanks

I don't see any problem with putting a save button at the top. Perhaps even multiple locations in the article edit/save page.

Or perhaps have a link in each section to jump down to the bottom of the article to the save button.

I think there was a discussion a while back about having "Show/Hide" links on each of the sections below the article textarea. Hiding all of those sections would put the Save button a lot higher up on the page. I'm not sure what the end result of the discussion, though.

I have added some hiding links, but don't want to add to many of those either. A save button on top sounds good, I often got tired of having to scroll down myself lol. :)

I am using the Terra97 theme.  How would I go to make this simple change on my site? First, is it simple? Second what would I need to do. I am a mostly a beginner on this.

Thanks

On the save button? Thats in the admin area - it will affect all themes, not just one.
