Require access rights to boards content

Hi,
there is an option to make the board available after "requesting access rights"
How can these be requested?
Can I make the category visible for guests but not the board? So a guest, when selecting the board will get a reminder for requesting?

this is SMF related and not TP related. in SMF you cannot by default make a board visible unless you can see everything in the board.

you can make a group that a user can request to join that would give access to a board or multiple boards.

Thanks for explaining, that is how I did it right now!
So I do not understand the option of access by request. I will ask then in the SMF forum.
