TP Download - preview image questions

When uploading files to the Downloads manager, is there any way to get it to automatically show a thumbnail if the file uploaded is an image?

If not, what image file types does the preview image upload feature allow for?

Question 1: No, there is no such function available

Question 2: The supported file types for screenshot/picture are jpg,gif or png

which explains why it was nto accepting my TIFs
