Title: Disable simley in Article
Post by: NightOwl on February 26, 2005, 08:19:50 PM
Is there any way that I can disable simley in article?

And, there seems be something odd when I edit a long article. It will create extra blank spacing which makes the article longer, and need to scroll 4-5 page to see the article.

You can do an experiment like this

Just paste an ordinary html page with tables tag into the newly create article, then try to edit it and you see what I mean.

Excuse me for my first post, I think the real problem is cause by in-compatable of IE.

It's been quite a lot of work to import info pages from pure html into articles. When the smiley mess up some html codes when they are parsed.

Also, the odd behaviours of some tags, like <p> and <tables> are unexpectly occurs in IE viewing. Now I can't tell if they will happens in other browsers as well.
