I would like to make you all aware of a situation that one of our beloved members here has been put in. G6 is not the type of person to use TP.net to announce such a thing so I would like to point everyone who has a moment to spare, to read this post at her site.

Hey Sis, warm wishes for you, Dennis, and the family.  I hope things go well, with fast recovery time for Dennis so he can start to enjoy some of the things he has missed out on for so long.

I know Dennis has the best thing going for him, a strong, caring, loving Mother who will help him through this unfortunate time.  My thoughts and prayers will be with you throughout the entire time.

Thank you IchBin for making this post, you are a true friend and thank you for the donation you made, there are angels in life in many aspects and shapes. You are definitely one of them for Dennis and me :)

And thank you all for posting your thoughts and support, I have always known this day will come, and now when it's here, I'm scared of it all, the thoughts are very happy that his time to get a normal life finally has arrived, but at the same time painful as we know that this might be the last time we have with him. It's up to the angels to decide now if he have gone...WE have gone through is enough or if they think we have to be tested in our believes more regarding the feelings for Dennis and how his life have been so far.

It warms to read all the nice words you say and think for a little person you never ever met, I thank you from the bottom of our hearts here. You people will be in my heart and my thoughts the very day he is in with the doctors and I'm sitting outside for the many hours it takes for them to eather come out and say, Every thing went well, he will be just like any boy in his age from now on, or, we are sorry, we did what we could, but it wasn't enough.
The toughts here in me, in his father and the rest of the family is way over what any one should have to deal with, and even if we are talking a lot about it, share our thoughts, Dennis is the one giving us the bravery, his smile, his strength is just so big that i cant believe how that little boy that came in to my life for 6,5 years ago is so wise and calm, even if it's him that WE as his parrents should comfort, not He to us.
The angels will take care of me he say, but will they take care of me if every thing goes wrong....
Offcourse it will go well, we all have to think positive, but as a parrent to a little child like him, it's the toughest thing i will ever have to face in life.

Again all, thank you for taking the time to think of us here, and for leaving warm comments for us, both here and on my site.

My prayers with you and Dennis also.  I do have a question however.  Here in the USA there are foundations that would do something like this totally free of charge.  I, myself, have benefited from such.  The Shiners run hospitals especially for children and no one is ever turned away and it is free.

Is there nothing in your country like this? 

For the children all healtcare are free of charge, both medics and all hospital time.
It's for the parrents that it's not so easy. All the time i spend with him there have to come from my own pocket, we have searched for foundings so we can be with him there, but with no luck so far, The Nadira founding is a special founding for children with parrents that are for families with children that have heart conditions where the children wont survive if they dont get operated in time. We have search there, but as the paper handling take time, we doesent seem to get any foundings from there for the looks of it  :-\

For about 4 month ago, i spended 5 weeks in the hospital with Dennis when he got worse, they thought it was to late, but with medics and s tube in his lung saved him that time. For me as parrent, it costs me 130sek/day to just be there with him, then it's food to about 60sek if i just eat one meal a day.
So from that last time we kind of went under with the economy. For the parrents there are nothing they can provide just cause the insuranses locked any paiment for any thing regarding his heart because he is born with the failure.
But there is still nothing in this world thats going to keep me from being there with him during the time there.
Your words and thoughts gives the strength to go on with it both in the spirit and in mind.

The lord that I know has mercy on the young. The lord I know has compassion for all of his children regardless of creed, sex, social standing and age. The lord I know leaves us with one set of footprints in the sand because he always carries us when we need him the most. The lord has a plan for young Dennis and knows all the anxiety and suffering that you have been going through. The bright side is that he is getting the surgery that he needs and that alone is such a blessing.

Many people who post on any type of forum, simply see words on a screen, however when things of this magnitude strike, are the times when we realize that there are real emotions and feelings behind the text.

From one parent to another I offer you my full support. Your family will be held closely in my prayers and thoughts and I am positive that the lord I know will lay his hands on your family and comfort and provide the strength that you need.

There is nothing wrong with being scared luv..I would be worried if u weren't...

I do know that for a long time now, although he has been ill, there has also been a comfort zone where things are somewhat predictable, and soon you will be stepping out of that zone... its not a bad thing.. the end result will be good for all, but the time between now and then will see like forever...thats okay ( as I'm sure u know, I went through something different but the same)

if i could offer you this, keep as many routines as you can. It will benefit Dennis too. And it will help u manage the chaos....seriously..
And u are his rock, girl. Nothing wrong with being a realist,but try not to lose perspective ( the big picture)...if you know what I mean..and that is to get Dennis better....and from what I know if you, u can do it...ur a very strong person

That is so nice of you. If anyone copies the text file for the block and uses as is, the bandwidth comes from my site and I really do not mind at all. It is for such a good cause.

Feels like a really big family right next to my side :)

I wanted to tell that so far the donations cover 3 out of 4 weeks the doctors say are the common time spent in a hospital after the kind of sergery Dennis is about to face. All donations made have paid for me to have a bed with him in his room right next to him 24/7, i cant even describe the feeling inside of me, for not say how Dennis feel right now. Although he is pretty scared about it (we all are) he gave me a really big hug last night and told me he was safe with the angels and the help they send us. i hope that some day in life i can be just as supportive and give you the same warm and safe feeling as you give us right now.

I hope the last week will be covered to in those 3 and a half week there is left before we have to be there for Dennis big day in life. The very day the doctors will make him healthy and give him the life like any other normal  boy in his age. I cant even describe the feeling i will have when this is all over, be able to do things we never could do before. Just the thing that be able for Dennis to learn how to swim in the ocean we live so close by.
he have always asked us if he could learn how to swim.. or go with his friends to the football course and chase the ball around like they do. There is so much he want to do now, most of the time we have now, we talk about all the things he will be able to do next summer when every thing have settled.
As a mother this is very heart breaking to hear, we have always been there for him through every thing, When he sneaked out behind our backs to play ball, and his friends came running to us telling that Dennis laid on the ground all blue in the face. He were seconds from leaving us for good that time. And all he said, " I just wanted to make one goal ", i can tell about many of the times we had to go to the hospital with him just because he tried to be like the others, he refused to accept that he couldent do things like the other boys could, and he was willing to die for just making one goal when they played fooball  :'(

I can share the thoughts and feelings about all thats happend and will happend, but i know that when this is over, Dennis will be the happiest boy on earth, and i will be the most happy mom and the most greatful person alive.
Thank you all for the help, and thank you Dennis Guardians for giving me the time with him in the hospital. The doctors repair his heart the November 2, you repair mine right now.

Very sobering to read and will make you think twice about your own good health and those of your love ones.  But information is always the best weapon for battle and a good prognosis for long term survival. Only a few more weeks now before surgery and I know the wait is agonizing, which seems to be the worst part of the whole ordeal, sometimes.

A few more weeks for preparations and more donations. Hang in there it won't be long now.

The few weeks thats left is coming in very fast now, it feels like the days flying away even if the time home is very slow right now.
So much i want to do, but i cant get any where with the time i have.

And just to make one more both frustrating and very sad point in this, please read this.
But i dont want to have a big discussion about it in this thread, if you want to make a comment or say anything, please do so on my forum and the thread im pointing this to, I just want it out of my system and go on with our life.

Now it is wensday night. 4 days left before we drive to the hospital for the biggest change ever in our lifes. Both for Dennis and for us. We have been in and out from the hospitals many times, and hopefully this time will be the last with fear for the operation he have to go through.

We have started to pack things up, it's difficult to bring things with us for some reason. I both want to take things with me, and dont. What if we are going home with out him, all his things will be there for eternity for other children to play with as he wont be needing them anymore. But everything will be ok, i know it in my heart so he will have to have his things with him, His teddy is the most important thing, then the album with his images of the family. His pencils he draws with, His class picture from School with all his friends. His new game that Grumpy gave him. His pyjamas even if he wont ware it, he want to have it with him, hes own pillow. Lego bucket, image of Smulan that got runned over by a car 2 weeks ago.

He is pretty calm about everything now, we try to be calm to, and we laugh alot when we are together. We play games, we read alot, we talk about my parrents and his dads parrent thats not here anymore, He only met his grandmother one time and he cant even remember it cause he was only one year old when she passed away. He have a granddad from his fathers side that cares a lot, but he is quite old and dont really know how children work or think as he always worked and never really been with his own children. Dennis love him in a strange way, they have fun and laugh from time to time.

4 days left, then we have to open the door to the things we fear the most, but we have to, we have to give this to Dennis, he have the right to a life like any other normal boy hes age, and thats the only way we have to go now.
We also have a lot of friends and angels to watch over him, candels will burn, thoughts will be sent to us, and a lot of people will sit there and have this long wait with us until they get the answer we all wait for. Did it go well, or dident Dennis make it .. It hurts a lot to think that way, but i have to realise that this can happen, and he will be fine eather way, This is all about him, and whats best for him, So eather way, he will come out of this as a winner. If he come back to us, he will be a regular boy with a heart just like any one else, and if he dont, he dont have to feel any more pain or fear. He will leave broken hearts, but we will know that he didnt have to suffer anymore, he will be good eather way. And we will be there with him thanks to you guardian angels, you bought time for us to gether, we didnt quite reach all the way, but almost at this time is the world to me, and for that, i will never ever be able to thank you enough.
