Ok, did the search... saw some similar issues, but no resolutions.

Browser: IE 6.
SMF: 1.1.2
TP: 0.9.7.1
Theme: "TWN Blue" (CSS color modified CORE)

Site: thirdworldnetwork.org

Issue: The homepage has no problems, and loads without question. When you click a link and go to ANY page besides the index.php homepage of the portal, you get a small "error on page" warning in the status bar (doesn't appear to interfere with anything, but is still creating an error warning).

Clicking the warning pops open a window to explain the issue:

Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar.

Line: 70
Char: 1
Error: Object required
Code: 0
URL: http://www.thirdworldnetwork.org/index.php?action=forum

Mind you... I currently have the site in Maintenance Mode (new header, structuring exactly what blocks will appear where, custom icons... ie; a lot of aesthetic work, etc), so if you click on the link, you will see the MM message.

Query: Is it an issue with the index.php page? I am looking at it, and I cannot see what the problem is...especially since I haven't changed anything...

As we have moved to TP V.098 we dont support the tpV.0971 anymore.
Update your TP and you will have that error fixed.

Nokonium

Update your browser as well, IE7 has better security.

Frost

LOL... I would update it, but its the computer at work that I first noticed the error... and if I update that, then the Oracle system that it integrates with will no longer be compatible (strict warning to NOT upgrade until they make patch for us)...

I will, however, upgrade... Hadn't noticed that we went to 9.8!

Frost

Ok, upgrade went perfectly.

Now the error tells me that its "Line: 74" instead...

:(

Bloc updated the package because that error fix didn't seem to be in the package. You can try downloading the package again and then installing it again and see if that fixes it.
