Hi:

I had just manually installed TP0983.  Things went smoothly, a very nice piece of software.

However, I seem to have one problems with displaying left&right blocks for members that belongs to a membergroup who have access to a restricted board.

The left and right blocks are not displayed, only the center block!  :o

This only occurs for members of the groups that have access to restricted boards.

Could someone please help?  Perhaps I did not have it set up properly?

I am using SMF1.1.2 and TP0983, tested on two different themes with same results.

Thanks.    :)

Do you have left/right blocks set to show in forums?
Are you using TP compatible themes?

Main thing to check is the block permissions in your Block manager

Admin/TinyPortal/Block manager/  Click the tool icon on the blocks you want that special member group to see, and check the catbox for that membergroup.

Bingo!  That was it!  I did not dig deep enough into the menu.

Sorry, the site is on my local machine where I am trying to learn to use linux, smf, and TP.  Once I learn to properly use the package, I will probably ask the admin of our local Koi Club's website to add TP.

Thanks for the VERY quick reply.
