Hi All,
my SMF SQL database is about 40 Mbytes big.

Now at my hosting provider the SQL server crashed:
hardware failure...

Now I try to upload my database to another database server
at their location,
but phpmyadmin always cuts off the database file during upload,
so many tables are missing !

Is there any other tool available, so I can import a database from
SMF 1.1.2 / Tinyportal 0.97
into a new database ?

My hoster servage.net also has a different import tool in their
online file manager, but when I try to import it this way, the
database says, it has got no tables...
so it does also not work !

Hmm...
Is there any other method to reinstall a 40 MB SQL file into a new database ?

Many thanks.

Regards, Stefan.

This is something you need to get help with from simplemachines.org
There are many ways to go with this, and you have them all posted there :)

Most hosts have a limit of about 10,000 inserts /hour. If that's the case you have to chop your database into parts of about 2 Mb. (gzipped)
When the above doesn't work out for you, try mysqldumper ( http://www.mysqldumper.de/en/ )
I use it on all my sites.
