This might be fun for those who need to increase revenues of your site !
This script will make someone compulsarily click on the link you want.
The code is
<a href="" onmouseover="parent.location='http://www.evilopinions.com/'">Evilopinions</A>
Just try out. If a visitor hover's his mouse over the link he will compulsarily be taken to that page.
You can view a live demo at : www.evilopinions.com
geesh not to be out and out rude but.....
I hate scripts like this. I hate sites that have scripts like this installed. All I can tell you is that if you want people to repeatidly visit your site this script isn't the best way to draw them back. It may guarentee that they never return.
But to be fair.... I'm sure someone out there might have a use for it. Good luck with that.
Ya i Know sno but it was just a snippet that some might find use with !
the name does have "evil" in it... LOL
You guys always know me !
i think this script is good........ wont be using it myself but still...............
I could see it's use for a practical joke...... you know, to make someone THINK they have malware or worse.
Other than that.... I stop going to sites with popups and other rude advertising.......
Evil, just plain evil!
Ha ha
i need to get that code to work in my sig on a forum..............is there anyway it can? ( its a forum i dont like )
- Alan S
^^ well obviously that was me........... the password of this account got changed so..........
At the very least, they'd have to allow HTML in their signatures.
html is allowed in posts im not too sure about sigs....
ooh wow thanks! :)
but what about complex ad codes like google or chitika?
how will you give 1 url to be opened upon mouse hover?

- Complex HTML capabilities would be required - this means an SMF board is out of the question. Now if it were UBB, vB or IPB.....
- You pissed him off? Isn't it his board?
- If this board op pissed you off, leave it be. It is his board. If he pisses everyone off, he'll be left with nobody anyway. If I came to your board and you pissed me off, who cares - its your board!
- Regardless of what they say on the SMF board, PMs are all readable on any message board platform. Some boards even come with the ability to do this in the ACP. The SMF head-in-sand mentality about a mod is bothersome. They are all very readable in the ?_messages table of your DB.
I tried this on several message boards I have and it doesn't work even on the sites where I allow full HTML to certain users. It does work on a regular page, but I have scripts disabled on my full HTML boards.
ok thanks for the info
Stuff like this even though it is funny and can be used for fun if this is mis-used it could really hurt you or your forum.
I would say use it as you see fit for jokes and other funny stuff but don't use it to be a prick... In the end your the only one that will lose.
no trust me a want to act like a prick to this guy........you wouldnt really understand unless you were on the forum for about 7 a day 7 days a week for 6 months
Just smile, walk away and forget about it. It isn't worth your time and it could become an obsession. In the end, you'll have to answer for your actions - why not make certain they are all good?
personally i'd prefer to annoy him............thats just me though
And if he were to file an abuse complaint with your ISP?
Or worse - if the traffic is routed through NJ? :2funny:
he wouldnt do that over a certain code being in a post or sig..........he most likely ban me for life.......again
I could see myself using this for good, as some sort of work around. But getting folks to open ads they dont initiate only serves to ensure they'll never visit your site again.
I know this is old, but I will add this here anyways :D
PMSL @ Alan
Nothin like a good ole vendetta!! hahahahahaaaa
Hopefully youre over it by now ;)
