I have been doing a search but can't seem to find it.

Alrighty then here we go, now when a new person joins your forum and they get their welcome email from your forum is there a way that you can edit that message? Could someone tell me where to go with that? Please?

Look in Login.<language>.php in Themes/default/languages directory. Then look for lines beginning with:

$txt['register_immediate_message']
$txt['register_activate_message']
$txt['register_pending_message']

$txt['resend_activate_message']
$txt['resend_pending_message']
