I updeated my SMF to 1.1 while still using tp theme. Now I got error

I just updated my SMF forum to 1.1 now I get this error, can anyone help?
I get this

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: shorten_subject() in /home/tcmorrow/public_html/recovery/forum/Sources/BoardIndex.php on line 218

I can no longer get to any part of the board.

Can I back out of this, what is this in relation to?

You may want to restore that file it's referring to and see if it corrupted or something. I don't think TP has anything to do with BoardIndex.php. You install another mod recently?

I did that, thanks I was able to get back in but now I can not get to the packages part it says Unable to load the 'package_above' template.

Hey thanks for the help I am going to scrap this install and start over. Its just time, right?
