TP and smf 1.1.3?

Just upgraded to SMF 1.1.3 with TP 0.98 and all is OK!

No its a complete fresh install on a new server, installed SMF 1.1.3 and trying to get TP on it

If you have SMF 1.1.2 and TP 0.983 the patch will apply without probles via the feed in Admin. If you run an upgrade of SMF 1.1.3 via Package manager you will overwrite modded files and have to reinstall them.

If you want to do a new install,until we have the download package up to date you have two options:

1) Install SMF 1.1.2, then TP 0.983 and then apply the patch.

or

2) in the file package_info.xml find

Code Select Expand

<install for="1.1 RC3, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2">

Replace with

<install for="1.1 RC3, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3">

find

<uninstall for="1.1 RC3, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2">

replace with

<uninstall for="1.1 RC3, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3">

If you want to upgrade an from an earlier version of TP, either uninstall the patch and reinstall it after upgrading

or

If you want to upgrade an from an earlier version of TP with the patch applied

Find

<upgrade for="1.0.5, 1.0.6, 1.0.7, 1.0.8, 1.0.9, 1.1 RC1, 1.1 RC2, 1.1RC3, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2" from="0.96, 0.97, 0.971, 0.98, 0.981, 0.982">

Replace with

<upgrade for="1.0.5, 1.0.6, 1.0.7, 1.0.8, 1.0.9, 1.1 RC1, 1.1 RC2, 1.1RC3, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3" from="0.96, 0.97, 0.971, 0.98, 0.981, 0.982">

I upgraded easy via package manager on tp_v1.0

Well thats not available to everyone else Crip.

I will try to update the package on TP today so it can be installed on the SMF update to 1.1.3.

Read a couple of posts up Forum nut and you'll see what package info you can change to make it work.

I tried on the test site first. However the test failed on 2 files /sources/subs.php and sources/display.php it worked fine. However the same fail is on the main site also, and i am not sure if i should go ahead. It worked on the test but what are the changes it wants to make in those files ?. Does anyone know so that can be done manually ?
