hello all

i have smf 1.0.8 upgraded to 1.0.9 with TP 0.9.6 installed.
so, i decided to test a couple of new mods without any risk of affecting my forum found at my domain index (it's a total miss btw)
so i copied all my forum files to a subdomain and copied the same database and uploaded to another database name.
now i did read that having the same prefix is not recommended, so i changed it from smf_ to test_ but then got an error saying test_settings table not found.
so i changed the prefix to smf_ and it worked fine.... except that i had to uninstall TP on the test forum to try out some mods, and now i notice that the TP on my primary forum has been partly disabled!!! (the TP side panels are not visible, but TP is very much there running in the background...i checked in admin panel and the TP options are all there and working)
my best bet is that something got changed in my DB and there's some simple on/off to revert - but i have no idea what or how. (<< newbie here)

i have tried to reinstall TP on my test forum to try and revert the problem on my primary domain's forum, but due to some weird changes, it wont install.
so now am stuck...

here's the error that shows at the top of my test forum (still linked with the same prefix)
Notice: Undefined index: TPortal in /home/username/domains/domain.com/public_html/test3/Sources/Load.php(1040) : eval()'d code on line 138

and also this:

An Error Has Occurred!
2: copy(/home/username/public_html/test/Themes/default/images/tpcopy.gif) [<a href='function.copy'>function.copy</a>]: failed to open stream: Permission denied
File: /home/username/public_html/test/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 961

Thanks a bunch for any help or suggestions.

As we host TinyPortal MOD we only give support on that mod, and as SMF 1.1 Final is released, we only support on that version from now on.
You have to seek the answers on the site and threads you got the mods from and hope they will give you support if you cant find the answers there allready.

All i can say about your error is that it have been covered MANY times before, and if you search on that string from the forum index you will see that it is a permission error to the files.

Hi G6

it really concerns only TP - i havent had any probs, except when uninstalling TP and then trying to reinstall it. as for SMF 1.1, i cant install that right now, or lose all TP functionalities.
The permissions have been set to 777 on ALL files. same prob...

EDIT: Fixed! Thanks a lot for the headsup G6 ;D my stupid mistake... or rather that of my FTP software; it kept dropping halfway the CHMOD when select one primary folder to all files.
