Sometimes when you try to install a package through the SMF packages installer, you may get the following error:
QuoteThe package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted.
This usually means just that.
1.| The package may be corrupted, which you can try to open it manually with a package program such as winzip or winrar. If it doesn't open, then it's corrupted and cannot in anyway be used. If it does open, try re-packaging it and install.
If that doesn't work...
2.| The package may be invalid, meaning it's not the right package, or doesn't work with that version of SMF and/or TP. If it is a valid SMF or TP package, and it's not corrupted, you may try installing it manually. If it is a TP package, you can follow this guide on how to install it manually: "How Do I Manually Install Tiny Portal? (http://www.tinyportal.net/help/index.php?topic=29.0)".
