The Tiger's Lair / Massillon.com
« on: August 20, 2008, 02:01:27 PM »
Site Name: The Tiger's Lair @ Massillon.com
Site URL: http://www.massillontigerslair.com & http://www.massillon.com
Site Owner: TigerSpize, Lee, OrangeBlood
Site Designer: Spize
Theme Designer: Crip (i-Leather with alterations by Spize)
Site Genre: High School Sports fan site

Likes: Continuity, the whole site looks the same
Dislikes: Not quite as clean and crisp as I would like it to look, and the chatroom can be customized by each user, but I would love to change the default look to be customized and not blue

I have spent many an hour tweaking and modifying this website, to the point of merging another menu system from another theme into it (and driving crip crazy with posts on his forum during the process).  I am at very best a coding amateur so altering what I have has been slow, but I believe effective...  your thoughts?

Plus if you can find anything about the site itself that would help improve my google rank, I would be much appreciative.

You have a nice site Spize.   :)

Because your site is about a High School team I take it that your potential member base is somewhat small? If that's the case you seem to be doing very well on total members and and doing exceedingly well on Topic/Post count... good job on that part.

No real criticisms from me, your site looks good.
The only thing I would point out is that your front/home page is kind of busy, but that's just me because I'm from the "Less is More" school of thought.
Too Much is not Enough.

Nice site! Agree with Ken on most points. Although, that catbg tiger stripe in the forums is kind of out of place in my opinion. Looks like your site is busy, and that you are busy as well. Tons of pictures in your gallery. Looks well done to me. Keep it up!

Looks good, although I agree with Ich on the tiger stripe background used as he said. That's a minor thing, as I'm on the outside looking in.

The links for what I guess is the upcoming games in "Football 2008" don't display any type of 'pending' or similar message.

Obviously a busy site- with 24000+ messages in 3000+ topics from just 250+ members!!! Lots of pride there...

I have been working on getting things cleaned up and organized.  Can I get another critic of my site by anyone?

BTW, Beta 2 was a HUGE help to getting things going right again on my site.

I have been playing with the theme a lot more lately...  I think I have thoroughly mutilated i-Leather now, I am thinking there is like 2 original images left, LOL.

any thoughts on my site now?
