How good is PhP5 and why it still not pushed?

It is good..but I think hosts are a bit conservative - they go for whats  "stable" and familiar. But as far as I have read PHP 5 is pretty stable now. Personally I have no imminent need for it, but I have tested on my local server, and it seems to perform well.

but I not really that much into it, others may have more insight on this.  :P :)
