This script doesn't seem to be updating. any ideas why?

Hm, weird. It works perfectly on my site, the updates don't happen every 5 minutes though.

The news block is actually part of SMF. But you can add a RSS news block with TP.

Actually it's an RSS feed converted to a Javascript, I rather use that then the RSS feed, because the feed messes up the width of the block. But you can choose for yourself.
