Many people need help with their site because of bugs or layout issues. Most of the time, someone has already had the same issue, and it has already been addressed. Try browsing the appropriate board, and/or do a search before asking.

If you cannot find any posted support to your problem, then here are a few tips on maximizing your response when asking for support with a problem or issue.

• 1.| Include Your URL: a link to your site helps us identify the problem more efficiently.
  
   


• 2.| Apply An Attachment: having a screenshot of the problem helps too. If it is needed, attach it to your post. You can learn how to apply attachments HERE.
  
  


• 3.| Include: "always" include SMF version, TP version, and server information(if applicable). You can find out a quick way to get your server information HERE.
  
  


• 4.| Subject Line: "always" have a clear subject line. Topic titles like "I need help!" is not going to help you get the response you need any quicker.
  
  


• 5.| Be Thorough: "always" be thorough with your problem. Otherwise it's just a guessing game for the person trying to help you.
  
  


• 6.| Test Account: in some rare cases, a test account may be needed for us to resolve your problem first hand. Simply set up an account and be sure to set the account permissions as needed= username: test password: abc123 .
  
  

Note: if no one replies to your request, that means no one has read it, or no one knows. Keep related support requests to a single topic please.
