Can't edit some articles but can others??

I am running SMF 1.1.4 & TP v0.9.8

I have been running an online magazine with this setup for many years without much issue. Yesterday I went to edit an article and when I hit the "submit" button it goes to the homepage rather than back to the edit session. So after trying other articles I found that some allow the edit and some don't. BTW, I am using the FCKeditor. Anybody know why its doing this?

Tinyportal 0.9.8 has not been supported for a few years now. And if you are indeed running the version that had the old FCKEditor in it, I would highly suggest you do one of two things.

1. Remove the FCKeditor. That editor had an exploit in it that allowed a hacker to take control of your site.
2. Upgrade your site, and remove the FCKeditor folder.

Either way, I'd remove that editor's folder. As for the problem that you are having, it's hard to say. I haven't even seen the code for 0.9.8 for years. lol  When you hover over the edit link for the article, copy and paste the link here for those that work, and those that do not work. Maybe there's something missing in the URL that is different. I should note too. You may see this topic/post disappear. We will be in the middle of a site move for Tinyportal over the next day or two.
