Aeon is a re-visit to darker themes again, with clear titles and easy-to-read content styles. Its using the width to the fullest and also suits TP layout(s) quite well.

Updating

In TP 1.0.5 several locations where TP modifies SMF files have been changed. Its therefore needed to remove any old installation of v0.9 before installing TP1.0.5. Primary its the SMF file modifications that needs to go, everything else will be preserved of course. The way to do this can be many, but the 2 main methods are:

1.) Simply un-install TP 0.9 first, then upload and install fresh TP 1.0.5 It will sense the old installation,...

TP v1.0.5 have had a major update on many of the sections of TP, mostly articles and block system, but every bit have been at some degree worked on. thus there are a few areas that will be quite new to existing users of TP v.0.9.

As some of you may discovered we had a small April Fools joke going on April 1st. While it was fun doing it, it also actually had a real pre-beta up for download - but with a somewhat hidden link. We hope you saw the fun in that, and salute those that actually found the download.

Since then we fixed some newly discovered errors but we are now at the first beta of TP v1.0, ready for all of you to test out and use. Note that it is still beta software and as such are bound to have...

The SMF Themeclub features entries for 2 months this time, for both February and March. 4 times to look at, and the 2  February ones are called Definition (free) and BZ14 (premium), while March entries are called Writer's Corner (free) and Dreamscape (premium).

Dreamscape is a light theme with an eye-catching use of backgrounds, fading into the main design. It also have a new features included. To name some of them:

BZ14 is the second most recent default theme of tinyportal.net and is now available for purchase. It has drop-down menus, as well as automatic support for TinyPortal 0.9-1.0. It will also let you setup extra menus inside "current theme settings", and not depend on changing the actual template to add to the menu.

A Photoshop source file is also included for those wanting to customize the theme further.

2008 is upon us and one of the first things changing is the appearance of tinyportal.net. We now have a new site theme, but also smaller and bigger changes in different sections will come - and has indeed been added n some areas.
